Cleveland Cavaliers Tickets – Lebrown James the Man of Hour
The match against Philadelphia 76ers saw quite a few records tumble. First and foremost, the Cavaliers were able to stream to their 10th consecutive win. The match against the 76ers saw LeBrown James in his true colors. This match saw James beating all what the 76ers defense had to throw at him, and scoring 29 points. Needless to say, the 29 points scored by Brown powered the Cavs to a 101-93 score line over the 76ers.
What really made the difference at the end was the performance of the Cavs in the third quarter. Until then things were on an even keel. The Cavs made a move ahead with James showing his shooting skills and by the time the whistle blew, the Cavs had built up a score line of 36-19 for the 3rd quarter. The demolition job of James was finally over when the Cavs outscored the 76ers by 8 points at the time the final whistle blew.
There were no upsets in any of the other games, but the one major result coming through was from the match
In baseball, it has come close (see 2005 San Diego Padres, 1973 NY Mets). In the NFL, only two .500 teams have made the playoffs since 1991 (1991 NYJ, 2004 STL). In the NBA, however, it has been the norm to find teams with a losing record compete in late April and into May.
Below, a table of the number of .500 win percentage teams, the number of first round games they have won, and the number of series they have gone on to win.

Entertainment has its own major role in everyone’s life. Be it a football match or a music show or any other event, it refreshes you and gets you in a tension free mood. Though events are there, stars are there, a desirable heart is there but availability of tickets to watch that particular event becomes a hassle. Events like Boston Celtics Tickets, New Jersey Nets Tickets, New York Knicks Tickets, Philadelphia 76ers Tickets, Toronto Raptors Tickets, Chicago Bulls Tickets, Cleveland Cavaliers Tickets, Detroit Pistons Tickets, Indiana Pacers Tickets, and Milwaukee Bucks Tickets are a real craze among people belonging to every age group. What most of the people do is that they rush to buy the ticket at the very last moment. In these situations, you often end up paying more prices than the actual cost due to circumstances. This is the moment when the demand of goods is much higher than the supply; these manipulators control prices and cost of tickets increase.
Indiana Pacers fans headed for the exits early Wednesday night. For once, it was because their team was on the right side of a blowout. Danny Granger scored 29 points, and the Pacers had their highest point total and margin of victory this season to beat the Toronto Raptors 130-101 on Wednesday night. The easy win was a welcome change for the Pacers, who have played the most games decided by three or fewer points of any team in the league this season. Indiana’s lead reached 41 points late in the third quarter, and that was enough to convince much of the crowd to try to beat the traffic. “It was great, honestly,” Granger said. “You never want to see the fans leave, but it’s great to blow a team out. I think a bunch of us didn’t even play in the fourth quarter.” Jarrett Jack added 23 points, Roy Hibbert had 17, and Troy Murphy finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Josh McRoberts had his first career double-double with career highs of 12 points and 11 rebounds in 21 minutes. “It’s good to get the opportunity to get out there and play and be involved in a win,” McRoberts said. “Obviously, you can’t do that from where I sit at the end of the bench. “And, when the opportunity presents itself, I want to get out there and do the best I can and help out.” The Pacers were still holding on to the slimmest of playoff hopes, but they will need a lot of help just to have a chance. Indiana is four games behind Detroit and Chicago for the final playoff spot in the Eastern …

The Indiana Pacers are making a bad habit of falling apart in the second half. Chris Bosh scored 22 points, Jose Calderon added 15 points and 10 assists, and the Toronto Raptors beat the Pacers 110-101 on Friday night, handing Indiana its sixth straight defeat. The Pacers have blown halftime leads in four of those losses. “I don’t know what it is,” Indiana’s Jamaal Tinsley said. “I’ve been here seven years and it seems like the same thing. It’s frustrating when you go out there and play good for one half ,and in the second half you lay an egg. We’ve got to get together some way, somehow. It’s getting frustrating. You get tired of hearing the same old thing.” Anthony Parker and TJ Ford each scored 15 points as Toronto ended a three-game home losing streak. Jason Kapono scored 12 points and Carlos Delfino had 11. Tinsley said the Raptors were “more determined” in the second half. Toronto shot 50 percent after the break. “They hit some unbelievable shots,” Pacers coach Jim O’Brien said. “They just opened the court and were able to knock down a lot of challenged threes.” The Raptors, who never lost more than two straight home games last season, were pleased to end their mini-slump. “We feel like we got a little monkey off our backs,” rookie Jamario Moon said. Tinsley and Troy Murphy each scored 20 points for the Pacers (3-6), who have not won since a road victory over Memphis on Nov. 3. Bosh made just five of 15 field goal attempts, but connected on 12 of 13 from the … Video Rating: 4 / 5
Toronto Raptors 2006-07 Preview
The Toronto Raptors of 2006 have the distinct honor of being a team that no one knows about. Besides their superstar Chris Bosh, the Raptors are full of new acquisitions and draft picks. And even though they don’t play in a tough division, or conference, it is hard to imagine this ragtag group making the playoffs.
As mentioned above, Chris Bosh is the future of the Toronto Raptors. His career high numbers of 22.5 points per game and 9.2 rebounds solidified him as one of the best young big men in the game today. The Raptors fully expect him to be even better this season in both categories.
At the swing positions, the key players for the Raptors are Morris Peterson and Joey Graham. Morris Peterson is the only player who was with the Raptors five seasons ago, and he is a reliable shooting threat who can stay healthy and play eighty-two games a year. Morris had a career season, along with Bosh, in a bigger role last year and averaged
A charter franchise in the American Basketball Association, the team was originally slated to play in Kansas City, Missouri before moving to Denver. They were named the Denver Larks before they changed their name and became known as the Rockets for their first seven years of existence, winning division titles in 1970 and 1975. The name “Rockets” was derived from the Rocket Trucking Company, owned by the team’s owner and having the same colors (orange and black).
However, they tended to struggle in the postseason and failed to make a championship game during this span. They had a solid lineup led by Byron Beck and Larry Jones, then later by Beck and Ralph Simpson. During the 1969-70 season, the team also had controversial rookie Spencer Haywood. Haywood was one of the first players try to turn pro before graduating from college, and the NBA initially refused to let him play in the league. Haywood averaged 30 points in his only ABA season, then was
Each year in October, the annual NBA China Games has become the best arena for a vast number of Chinese fans watching their favorite teams as well as the best star players. In a few days, confrontation between Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers will be staged in Beijing Wukesong Basketball Gymnasium. For such a highly publicized NBA event, what highlights worth our attention?
1. American players re-visit China a year after
Chinese fans are very lucky, we are fortunate to have witnessed in our own doorstep the U.S. team to regain the gold medal in final. Beijing, as NBA’s mega-star, Anthony is the focal point of all attention. I believe that in a few days, “Melon” will have the most supporters in the Wukesong Basketball Gymnasium. Will you be one of them?
2. Top point guard was airborne in Beijing
Rockets, the King, Knights, Magic, Bucks and the Warriors, these six teams which have visited China previously owned not even a top point guard
Allen Iverson expected the Philadelphia 76ers to own the kind of killer instinct that can finish off teams for good once they build a double-digit lead. Because they don’t consistently have one, sub-500. teams such as Indiana can rally and finish off the Sixers at home. Danny Granger scored 26 points and Dahntay Jones had 18 points to lead the Pacers to a 109-98 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. “At times, when we can put teams away, we go about it in a lackadaisical way,” Iverson said. “We’re going to continue to struggle as long as we don’t have that killer instinct that everybody’s been talking about.” The Pacers earned a split of the home-and-home series after Philadelphia won 107-97 on Saturday night. Jones scored seven straight points late in the fourth quarter that helped the Pacers put this one away for a rare road win. Brandon Rush scored 16 points, and Troy Murphy had 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Pacers. “It’s hard to beat a team twice,” Granger said. Andre Iguodala scored 22 points and Iverson had 20 for the Sixers. Philadelphia failed in its bid to win three straight games for the first time this season. “We do a lot of things positive on the basketball court, we’re just not putting together whole games,” Iverson said. “That’s the frustrating part, because a game like this, we’re supposed to win.” Pacers coach Jim O’Brien blamed Saturday’s loss on fatigue caused by a schedule that had the Pacers play nine sets of back-to-backs since Dec. 18 …
The NBA Draft
Association’s (NBA) thirty teams (29 in the United States and one in Canada) can select young players who wish to join the league. These players usually come from college level, but in recent drafts a greater number of international and high school players have been drafted. As of the 2006 NBA Draft high school players gain eligibility for draft selection one year after their graduating class has finished high school, but only if they also are at least 19 years of age as of the end of the calendar year of the draft.
The NBA draft is currently divided into two rounds, with thirty picks per round. The order of selections is based on several rules. The first picks of the draft belong to the fourteen teams that did not enter the playoffs in that year’s season. These teams participate in a lottery to determine the order of the first three picks. Each team is assigned a number of chances based upon season standings to ‘win’ the lottery. After these three
Since its opening in 1988, The Palace of Auburn Hills, or simply The Palace, is a sports and entertainment venue in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It’s the home of the Detroit Pistons of the NBA; since 1998 it also hosts the Detroit Shock of the WNBA. It was also the home of the now-defunct Detroit Vipers of the IHL (1994 – 2001), Detroit Safari of the CISL (1994 – 1997), and the Detroit Fury of the AFL (2001 – 2004). It also hosts numerous concerts and other special events that are within a limo or luxury sedan ride of most Detroit suburban locations.
Before the Palace opened, the Pistons had lacked a suitable home venue. From 1957 to 1978, the team competed in Detroit’s Olympia Stadium and Cobo Arena, both considered undersized for NBA purposes. In 1978, owner Bill Davidson elected not to share the new Joe Louis Arena with the Detroit Red Wings, and instead chose to relocate the team to the Pontiac Silverdome, a venue constructed for football, where it
1.) Manute Bol Height: 7’7” Weight: 225 Pounds Manute Bol played 10 seasons in the NBA (1985-1995). He played for four different teams: Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, and Philadelphia 76ers. He averaged 18.7 minutes played per game over his career, but only 4.2 rebounds and 2.6 points per game. Considering all he has to do is catch the ball and lay it into the basketball without jumping, how come he only averaged 2.6 points per game? He was known for his blocked-shot ability. He set a rookie record in his 1985-1986 rookie season blocking 397 shots. He is also tied for the most blocked shots in one-half with eleven and is tied for the most blocked shots for one quarter with eight, in which he accomplished twice. He still holds the record for most blocked shots per minute with (.176). He also played with Muggsy Bogues during the Bogues
